Description

Soccer Shots is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games and positive reinforcement children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication.

3 TO 5 YEAR OLDS (PRE-K)

Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.

We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.

Health and Safety

Please note, we have adjusted our curriculum to follow social distancing measures. You will see our coaches making adjustments to our regular routine in an effort to keep safety our top priority. Additionally, all coaches will complete a mandatory health and safety course before the start of the season.

We are requesting that families attending in-person sessions follow these guidelines for the health and safety of other families and coaches:

Wash or sanitize hands before entering Soccer Island.
Practice social distancing by trying to stay 6 feet away from others that do not live in your household. We will have rings for the children to stand in when we begin to help them identify 'home-base' and stay distanced from others.
We do not require a face-covering. If you choose to wear one you are welcome of course.
When outdoors the coaches will wear masks during our greeting/ending and active games, but not during the oral teaching portion of the session. Our joyful facial expressions are too fun to miss!
If we have excessive rain or severely cold weather we will move indoors and will wear face coverings when we cannot maintain social distance.
When your child is given a soccer ball at the beginning of the skill portion we will attempt to have them use that ball the remainder of the session.
Stay home when you are sick and keep your children home from soccer if they are sick (we’ll miss them on Soccer Island, but we want them to be healthy!)
You are completely welcome on Soccer Island with your child! If that helps them stay distanced and use the same ball, by all means feel free to help. However, let's limit your assistance to one parent/grandparent on Soccer Island at a time.
